‘We’ve had a great few days in your lovely apartment – like home from home! Lovely walks on the beachfront watching the moon rise and up to Beachey Head for amazing views.

We’ll definitely be back – so much still to do and explore – and we loved the games. Perfect family days and nights xxx’

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

‘Garden View’ is a spacious, elegant, self- contained, two bedroom apartment in an area of Eastbourne called ‘Lower Meads’. As part of a well looked after, imposing Victorian/Edwardian detached house, ‘Garden View’ has the benefits of the large, airy rooms but with it’s own private front door and garden. This home does not feel like an apartment due to the fact that there are no ‘shared’ elements. Decorated with the design to bring the outside in – I have used wallpaper named ‘Sussex Downs’ in the large front room being as this property is in such close proximity to the seafront and the foot of the Downs. Both the lounge and main bedroom open onto the large deck and garden.

From the front of the property, you can clearly see the whitewashed building which is The Grand Hotel. This sits on the seafront – a two minute walk from the property. A row of shops sit within the rear of The Grand Hotel. The Green Almond is a fabulous Vegetarian Restaurant. There is also a chemist and a delicatessen.

The Meads and Lower Meads is a historic, quiet part of Eastbourne. In 1890, The Meads became the smart end of town. Wide, tree-lined roads give the area a sense of grandeur and character. Situated at The Downs end of Eastbourne puts this property in an enviable location. The Meads is a pretty village with a few shops including a Tesco Express, lovely Delicatessen, a ‘COOK’, cafe, a florist and two good pubs.
